It is the year 2065. Multimillionaire Jeff Tracy is the bold entrepreneur behind International Rescue - a top secret organisation headquartered somewhere in the Pacific whose ongoing mission is to aid humanity. Joining Jeff are his five sons - Scott, Alan, Virgil, Gordon and John along with a supporting cast of characters, including Brains, Lady Penelope, Parker and Tin- Tin opposing such villains as the evil Hood. Thunderbirds was created by Gerry Anderson and the original television series was first aired in 1965. 32 episodes were made in total and it has been the inspiration for three feature films. The popularity of Thunderbirds is such that it has been frequently repeated to successive generations and over forty years later, remains truly unique and just as popular as ever.
